WHAT DOES THREE GODS IN ONE MEAN?

three-gods-in-one

The Christian Godhead is called the Trinity. God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:18-20). The three parts are separate personalities, and yet together they form one being: God. We can come up with all sorts of ideas, as many have throughout time, but God is so great, no idea, no illustration, can comprehend or give Him justice.

A super small example would be man, each of us for the most part have three names, first, middle and last. If one stood alone it would not represent your whole name, only if all three are together can accomplish your name as being you. God the Father is to generate things, He is the originator, everything comes from Him and through Him, He is equal to the Son and the Holy Spirit, but things originate only with Him, God sent Jesus and The Holy Spirit. See John 3:16-17 and John 14:26. Jesus, God's Son was to pay for our sins which was done on the Cross Romans 5:9. Jesus also is our mediator for us before God, speaking to God on our behalf or in our defense. 1 John 2:1.

God the Holy Spirit has a multitude of activities, for instance helps us to pray. He reveals Jesus; the Comforter reveals God's word and conviction of our sins. He provides love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. We can rely on Him to help us share our testimony and He lives inside of us. Is there any question as to if we need the Holy Spirit, without Him we can do nothing, always include Him in real time in every activity and devotion, your best friend.
